Midland Credit Management

Is Midland Credit Management Contacting You?

Are you being contacted by Midland Credit Management? If so, Tayne Law Group is exactly the type of help you’ve been looking for. Read below to learn more about Midland Credit Management and what our experienced and dedicated attorneys can do for you.

Who Are They?

Midland Credit Management, Inc., a.k.a. “Midland” or “MCM” is a debt collector and debt-buying company. MCM’s website states that they help people resolve their past-due debt obligations “by providing education and payment plans.” Midland claims that they “take pride in [their] clear and honest communications with [their]customers” and “will work to find programs that provide [the debtor]a payment schedule and the cash flow” needed to meet their various obligations.

Are They Legitimate?

Although this agency is legitimate, a review of various consumer complaint forums over the internet suggests that they do not always engage in legitimate conduct. Among other things, people have complained that representatives for MCM have engaged in abusive behavior and have misrepresented their intentions with regards to time-barred debt (i.e. threatened to take legal action though none could lawfully be taken).
